How to format your script
It is important to format your script correctly before you send it to us.
The more professional your script looks, the more professional you look.
It also gives you a good indication of how long your script is.
As a rule of thumb a page of correctly formatted script equals a minute of screen / radio time. This is an approximate guide.
The BBC Writers Room has examples of script formats and there are lots of other examples on line.
